My Job


Early in development I documented and made some concept drawings for each of the different props that would be used in the scenes that later on I would model. After the Vertical Slice 2 I managed to figure out how make PBR textures and made them for the previous props and added new ones I did. I animated some of those props too.

Later in development I was in charge of generating particles and setting up their systems on our engine. Lastly, I made the website layout and programmed it.

3D Modelling

There are many props throughout the game to make the places don’t feel empty that I modeled to set the game’s environment. These had to be low poly as they were not the player’s main focus.

PBR Texturing

After the Vertical Slice 1, a decision was made to change the game’s art style to a more realistic one. We would use PBR texturing which was completely new for me. After learning how to I started texturizing some of the game’s props.

3D Animation

For a brief period of time I was in charge make some prop animations as we saw some needed movement.

Particles

On the latter stages of our project I was in charge of making some of the game’s particles. I had to create new textures for the engine’s particle systems with Photoshop.

Later I had to set up these systems to achieve the desired aesthetics.

Website

Last but not least, I was in charge of the layout and some programming of our project's website. I used the Bootstrap library to make it responsive and more accessible from different devices. Hope you like it :)
